While we may be known as the Central Coast’s Wine Destination, we have much more to offer! Get to know the rest of the Valley by experiencing some of the following activities.

Rancho San Marcos Golf Course - A 6800 yard Par 71 course offers stunning views of the Santa Ynez River Valley, distant furrowed peaks and eagles soaring above Lake Cachuma.

River Course at the Alisal - a 6,830 yards, the par-72 course is challenging but not punishing. The strategic placement of a variety of hazards rewards length and accuracy without severely penalizing casual and recreational golfers. The moderate central California climate and meticulous maintenance provide excellent year-round playing conditions.
The Stagecoach Wine Tour Co
Stagecoach Co. Wine Tours offers fun and exciting wine tasting tours throughout the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Barbara County. Santa Barbara County has become known world-wide for it's excellent growing conditions and beautiful scenery and spectacular wines.
Nojoqui Falls – A 15 minute moderate hike on a well maintained trail leads to a beautiful waterfall. The perfect site for a gourmet picnic lunch!
Biking – You may rent mountain bikes, provided by Wheels for Fun, right here at the Inn and we can suggest several routes, for beginner to advanced riders.
Massage – Relax, refresh and renew at one of our many local day spas! We suggest Blissful Place, Champagne Boutique and Beauty Potpourri. Services include facials, hot stone therapy, reflexology, facials, make up, and much more.
Quicksilver Miniature Horses – Open to visitors every day from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Quicksilver Ranch does not offer petting pens or rides, but you are able to get up close and personal with the miniature horse.
Farmers Market – Offers a unique array of products, fresh produce and flowers. Wednesdays from 4-7 (summer) 3-6 (winter) year round in Solvang.

Elverhoj Museum - Exhibits showcase Solvang’s rich history and celebrate the Danish American pioneer spirit and the colorful heritage of Denmark.
Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum - Displays a collection of vintage and rare motorcycles as well as European race bikes. This collection is quite broad with something for everyone, ranging from a 1910 FN to the present, and across all makes. The emphasis is tilted toward racing motorcycles. At the museum, you will find names such as AJS, BMW, Ducati, Gilera, Matchless, Moto Guzzi, MV, Norton, Triumph, Velocette and Vincent.
Special Events – The Valley offers year-round entertainment including: headliner celebrities at the Chumash Casino, jazz concerts, live theater, festivals, bike races, 10k runs and much more. See
Windhaven Glider Rides – The Santa Ynez Valley is one of the most picturesque gliding areas in the country. We are surrounded by mountainous national forests, beautiful Lake Cachuma and the valley itself is dotted with vineyards and world class horse facilities.
Lake Cachuma - Children's playgrounds, lake cruises, the nature center, fishing piers, and hiking trails await you. The Marina is open year-round and sells bait, tackle, fuel and fishing licenses. It also boasts a terrific snack bar & grill. The Family Fun Center includes a swimming pool, video games, miniature golf, and snack bar, and is open daily during the summer.
Flag is Up Farms - Notoriety as home to “the Man Who Listens to Horses,” Monty Roberts, has also created a demand to open the farm to the public. Visitors are welcome from 9am to 5pm daily, with no fee or reservation required.
Ballard Historic Walking Tour – Ask the front desk for a guide to enjoy our own rich history!
Horseback Riding at Rancho Oso – Sure-footed horses are gentle enough for beginners, so take advantage of this opportunity to try one of America's favorite sports under safe, supervised conditions.
